What to Bring

Bringing the right clothes and the right amount will make your trip more memorable. The following is a list of suggested items to bring to this trip.

  • Small day pack and medium sized backpack
  • Runners or comfortable hiking shoes + an extra pair for a dry change
  • Sandals with good heel support (suitable for creek crossings)
  • 5-6 pairs of cotton socks
  • 2-3 hiking shorts
  • 2 pair of long trousers
  • 5-6 underwear
  • 3-4 t-shirts
  • 2 long sleeve cotton shirts
  • A light jacket, sweater or windbreaker
  • Swimsuit
  • Sunglasses, sunscreen & hat
  • Bath towel
  • Personal toilet kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, razor, mirror, comb, nail clippers, chap stick, etc.)
  • I litre water bottle
  • Any personal medication, prescription glasses,(prescription mask for snorkeling)
  • Camera & flash and lots of film (200-400 ASA recommended)
  • Good binoculars (highly recommended)
  • High powered flashlight (torch) for cave exploring
  • Umbrella for rain/sun/boat spray
  • An open mind, a child-like sense of play & a great sense of adventure!
