• Students arrive at Pakse International Airport and transfer by mini van (1-hour) to the cool highlands of the Bolaven Plateau, home to the Laven and several other ethnic minority groups, spectacular waterfalls and plantations that grow some of the world’s best coffee.

• On the way to our lodge for the night we will meet with tribal people in their traditional homes, cross a suspension bridge over a river and view a dramatic waterfall plunging over an escarpment. Lessons in plateau geology and waterfall micro climes will be part of the days study program.

• Our accommodation for the night is the beautiful Tad Fane Resort set on the edge of a forested escarpment where twin waterfalls plunge 120 meters to the jungle valley below.

• After a delicious dinner in the open-air restaurant we will gather around an open fire for a group-sharing circle before bedtime.
