What to Bring

Bringing the right clothes and the right amount will make your trip more memorable. The following is a list of suggested items to bring to this trip.

  • medium sized backpack with good shoulder straps and waist belt
  • small day pack
  • comfotable hiking shoes (break in if new)
  • 3-4 pair cotton socks
  • 2 pair hiking shorts
  • 2-3 pair long trousers
  • 5-6 underwear
  • 2-3 T-shirts
  • 2 long sleeve cotton shirts
  • sunglasses
  • sandals with heel support (for rafting)
  • swimsuit
  • sun lotion
  • 1 litre water botte
  • camera / flash and lots of film
  • torch (flash lighte and good batteries)
  • light weight binoculars (highly recommended)
  • personal toilet kit (toothbrush / paste / soap /razaor)
  • shampoo / mirror / chap stick / nail clippers / etc
  • small pocket knife
  • any personal medication / prescription glasses / etc.
  • 2 pair wool socks
  • 1 warm woolen sweater
  • 1 windbreak -rain jacket with hood
  • 1 wool watch cap
  • gloves or mittens
  • a sense of humour, an open mind, and a great sense of adventure!
