Day 3 - Buddhist Stupa 2,500 years old and Rafting the Trisuli River

Early breakfast is followed by a 4 hours bus trip to the Trisuli River to begin our rafting adventure. Along the way we will stop to visit Swayambhunath - a Buddhist temple 2,500 years old, and the most sacred site in all of Nepal. We will have ample time to explore this ancient site before lunch.

Following a safety orientation we don helmets and life vests and begin our river descent on Nepal's most popular rafting river. A moderate grade of 3+ guarantees plenty of white-water thrills without undo risk. (Rescue kayaks will ensure additional safety).

We stop for lunch, and then raft on to our campsite for the night along the banks of this legendary river - which flows down from the high Himalayas to the plains of India. (Overnight: Trisuli River - camping in tents under the stars - Elevation approximately 500 m) - Overnight: River Camp.
