Day 3 - Waterfalls & Montane Forest

Early dawn wildlife viewing by canoe, kayak or longtail boat

Following a big breakfast we set off across the lake (1 hr.) to our mini vans, then drive 2.5 hrs. south to Khao Luang National Park.

A delightful picnic and refreshing swim beside waterfall pools -- flowing down from south Thailand's highest summit -- helps to break up our longest drive of the trip.

We arrive in Phatalung Province by late afternoon and check in to our lodge beside Thailand's largest freshwater lagoon.

Superb seafood dinner and overnight at Lampam Resort.
