Study Focus : mangrove ecology, inter tidal zones, coral reefs, island ecology and prehistoric human occupation caves

 Krabi Province is South Thailand’s premier nature destination and nothing puts you in closer touch with its natural treasures than our Krabi Kayak Camp. Here students can paddle through complex channels discovering the many mysteries of mangrove forests? Where else can one find seeds that germinate before they leave their parent tree, fish that climb trees and monkeys that swim and eat crabs?

Kayaking at three beautiful locations, students will explore ancient caves and tunnels featuring prehistoric cave paintings. They will negotiate intricate canyons and mangrove channels rich in wildlife, and circumnavigate Koh Hong, one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand with its own secret lagoon.

A night of camping under the stars on a remote island will be combined with a second night in a cozy bungalow on the mainland where all will enjoy a superb sunset, beach barbeque and closing celebration around a beach bonfire.
